Trinny, Brady and Dino
Brenda, who will from here out will be referred to as Bee, is a super good friend of mine. We have been friends for years, but to be honest, you would have thought we had been friends for years ten minutes after we met. Bee was one of my earlier photographic influences, nudging me along in my growing passion for photography. Fast forward a few years and Bee’s gettin Hitched!! In the spring Bee & her now hubby Chris hired Hitched Studios to document their wedding and to rock out a little engagement photo session with them. It just happens to work out that their engagement shoot was on the same day they were introducing Dino, the tiniest puppy you’ve ever seen, to the rest of the canine family, Trinny (big black lab) and Brady (little white spaz). That wasn’t cute or anything. Yes, my full time job often “requires” me to roll around on the ground with puppies until they are too tired to, at which time I “have” to let them sleep in my lap curled up in a tiny furry ball, prob not much bigger than my hand.
The wedding has now passed, and an amazing wedding it was, and Bee called to have me come by and photograph the puppies again, now that Dino is a little bigger (relatively). Well, Dino may still be the smallest, but I’m pretty sure he’s still in charge. I call all dogs puppies, but Dino is still a puppy, and he acts like it. Tons of energy, curious, playful, super fun and all over the place. Brady is a spaz and I love it. He digs up rocks and throws them at you repeatedly, until you throw something for him to go get, he comes back and repeat……. over and over. Trinny is as chill as they make em. She lets Dino run the show, even though he’d only be a snack to her. She is uper nice, she was a little timid, but warmed up and we had a great shoot.
Families come in all shapes and sizes, they also come in different species and breeds. If you are interested in having me photograph you and/or your pets, please be in touch. benjamin.wight@gmail.com
A big thank you to Bee, Chris, Trinny, Brady and Dino for having me be such a big part of their lives this year.
The new Fam.
